Meet Jordan:
, YOGA
Growing up, I was immersed in the world of horses, born and raised on a horse farm in Northern Virginia. From a young age, I was in the saddle, riding alongside local horsemen Jim McDonough of McDonough Cutting Horses and Charlie Ross of Acron Farm, which helped shape me into the horseman I am today.
This lifelong dedication isn't just a hobby; it's a deep-seated passion that has led me to produce every competition horse I've ever owned. The process of training each horse I wanted to use for showing from the ground up has been incredibly rewarding and has been a part of my journey from a young age.
Beyond the arena, my experience extends to the day-to-day operations of running a family property. Working alongside my single father my whole life taught me invaluable lessons about hard work, dedication, and the importance of practical experience. After my parents' divorce, my father and I ran and managed my family’s property for many years before I moved my horses to my Equitation trainer, Amy Fries’s farm, to continue to further my knowledge and riding capabilities in the Hunter/Jumper discipline. For me, experience is paramount, and I've been fortunate to grow up gaining hands-on knowledge within the horse industry.
